The WCA provides support for the Central Management Console and CSP applications. The Web Component Adapter is a web application. It does not appear as a server in the Central Management Console or in the Central Configuration Manager.
To configure the WCA, edit either of the following files, depending on whether you are running the system on a Java or .NET platform:
web.xml file associated with the WCA. See Configuring the Java Web Component Adapter.
web.config file associated with the WCA. See Configuring the .NET Web Component Adapter.
