Modifying a user account

Use this procedure to modify a user's properties or group membership.

Note:    The user will be affected if he or she is logged on when you are making the change.

To modify a user account
  1. Go to the Users management area of the CMC.
  2. Under Account Name, click the link to the user whose properties you want to change.
  3. Make the required changes, as necessary, in the available fields.
  4. In addition to all of the options that were available when you initially created the account, you now can disable the account by selecting the "Account is disabled" check box.

    You can also assign aliases. For more information, see Managing aliases.

  5. Click Update.
